At just 18 years old, Crystal the Capuchin monkey has the weight of NBC on her tiny shoulders. The network has spared no expense in the hopes that she, along with her co-stars on the upcoming comedy Animal Practice, can save NBC from a decades long slump, according to New York Magazine. The adorable animal is reportedly paid $12,000 an episode to appear in the new sitcom, showered with attention, flies business class (in her own seat) and is housed in West Hollywood’s exclusive Chateau Marmont – when she’s not sleeping in her trainer’s bed.
