The husband of shot U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords will ‘soon’ decide whether to leave his wife’s bedside to command the last flight of Space Shuttle Endeavour. Mark Kelly has been tight-lipped over whether he will board the shuttle’s final flight in April, which would mean his wife would have to recover alone for at least a few weeks, and relatives yesterday said he was considering all options. Mrs Giffords is said to be making progress as she is treated in a rehabilitation hospital in Houston, although she has limited movement on her right side and no one has said if she can speak.
