Rihanna stalker who spent 277 days in jail now lives in same city as singer
He knows exactly where Rihanna’s been all of his life. Zentil Vanzellas, 26, was convicted of stalking the “Where Have You Been” singer back in 2010, serving 277 of the 365 days he was sentenced to an L.A. County jail. And now, TMZ reports, the crazed fan is not only out from behind bars – having been released in June 2011 – but he’s also admittedly “sorry” for bothering the R&B beauty in the first place. Despite his apologies, however, Vanzellas is still currently living in the same city as Rihanna, a situation that may prove difficult for him to abide by court orders to stay at least 500 yards away from the singer. The restraining order is set to be in place for 10 years. In 2010, Vanzellas showed up at Rihanna’s home unannounced and scared the pop star to the point of being later deemed a “credible threat” by the judge, according to TMZ. The site reports that Vanzellas insists he’ll be leaving Rihanna alone despite their close proximity.
