Jessica Simpson couldn’t resist sharing an adorable photo of her daughter Maxwell with her Twitter fans. The proud new mother, 31, posted a snap of her cherubic new arrival along with the caption: ‘Howdy friends!’ The little girl, who seems to have inherited her mother’s pout, is dressed in a sweet striped jumpsuit and appears to be resting in the star’s arms. The Texan gave birth to her first child with fiancé, former NFL star Eric Johnson, on May 1.  As well as looking after her new arrival, Jessica is also focusing on another time-consuming task – losing her baby weight. The star, who posted a picture of her post-baby curves last week, hopes shrink to 130lbs before the end of the year. Jessica is adamant she will shed 50 pounds in five months.
