Nelly Furtado pledges to give to charity the $1m she earned at private gig for Colonel Gaddaf
Pop singer Nelly Furtado was paid $1m to perform an intimate concert for the Gaddafi family and its entourage, it emerged today. The Canadian star received the cash for a private 45-minute show in front of the Libyan dictator’s clan at a hotel in Italy in 2007. But international condemnation of Gaddafi had grown after the bloodthirsty despot has overseen attacks which have massacred hundreds of Libyan people. Read more: Daily Mail
