Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson spotted together in public for the first time
Rumor had it that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart had reunited following a very public, very ugly split this past summer, and this weekend’s recent photo evidence seems to confirm it. The “Twilight” costars were spotted getting cozy at Ye Rustic Inn, a bar in Los Angeles’ trendy Los Feliz neighborhood, Sunday evening, and onlookers noted that the pair looked very much back together again. “Rob and Kristen sat next to each other all night,” a source told People magazine. “They were both in a great mood. They kept smiling at each other and were laughing with their friends. “They looked happy and everything seemed great. They were flirty and held hands, but didn’t kiss.” The pair’s PDA extended back even earlier in the weekend to Saturday, when the twosome celebrated a pal’s birthday bash at the infamous Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, keeping it casual in T-shirts and jeans. An eyewitness told Us Weekly that the twosome were “whispering very close and intimately,” and another noted that the couple “snuck into the garden from a private side entrance.”Pattinson, 26, and Stewart, 22, have been careful to keep their reconciliation mainly under wraps, however, fearing backlash from fans who disapprove of their reunion. In July, Stewart issued a mea culpa, apologizing for having an affair with her much-older, married “Snow White and the Huntsman” director Rupert Sanders. Since then, the pair have moved out of the $6.3-million Los Angeles-area home they shared, though it was revealed Tuesday that Stewart reportedly bought a $2.1-million home just a mile and a half from Pattinson’s house in August. “They’re afraid of backlash, so they’re keeping things on the down-low,” a friend of the couple told Us Weekly. The pair will be promoting their upcoming flick, “Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2,” together this fall.
