ORLANDO, Fla. –   Orlando is tweaking an attraction to ensure even guests with butterbeer bellies can enjoy the park’s most popular Harry Potter ride.Universal After taking heat from ride critics and guests too big to squeeze in, the company said Monday it has started tinkering to make “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey” more accessible. Workers are adjusting the overhead harnesses that keep guests in place while a robotic arm flings them through a chaotic sequence in the boy wizard’s life. The cutting-edge ride is the crown jewel of the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter area inside Islands of Adventure in Orlando. The adjustments were first reported by Orlando Attractions Magazine. So far Universal has only changed a few ride vehicles, but eventually all will be tweaked.(FOXNews)

NEW YORK, Sept. 14 (UPI) — New York butchers said the meat dress worn by singer Lady Gaga to the MTV Video Music Awards appeared to be all beef — and not particularly expensive beef. Los Angeles designer Franc Fernandez declined to explain how he made the raw meat dress, saying only that it took him two days to stitch, but Peter Cacioppo, 50, head butcher of New York’s Ottomanelli Brothers, said the dress was clearly “all beef,” the New York Daily News reported Tuesday. “Her bodice looks like the outside of the rib. Over the shoulder looks like it does come from the shoulder,” he said. “There are no expensive cuts here, no real steaks. The best you’ve got is the flank steak on top of her head.” Cacioppo’s nephew and fellow butcher, Mark Cacioppo, 30, said the dress appeared to be made from about $100 worth of meat.(UPI.com)

An Australian man pleaded guilty to charges of attempted bestiality and stealing after trying twice to have sex with his landlord’s Great Dane.  Cairns Magistrates Court heard yesterday that Bradley Steven Whitehead was staying with a Endearour Valley couple, who had agreed to help him in exchange for work on their property near Cooktown, when he was caught attempting to mount their dog Missy, Cairns.com reports. After the property owner called police, the 37-year-old man admitted to trying the same thing the night before when he was drunk. He also admitted to stealing from the couple and the local hospital. Details about what he stole were not released. The court also heard that Whitehead was a chronic alcoholic. He was sentenced to four months in jail, sentence suspended with a two-year probation period. Whitehead still doesn’t know why his ‘lure with a bone’ trick didn’t quite work.(APP)

UK – Sticks of dynamite that sparked an alert on an Ohio railway line were later found to be props from a Denzel Washington movie. Jefferson County Sheriff Fred Abdalla said the device, resembling two sticks of dynamite with wires, was detonated by a bomb squad on Tuesday and turned out to be harmless.Sheriff Abdalla said that he suspected it was a prop left behind by a film crew that making Unstoppable, a thriller about a runaway train. Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway workers had found the item earlier in the day along tracks near Rayland, about 120 miles east of Columbus.(Telegraph)

HIALEAH, Fla. (WSVN) — Police are searching for a known gang member who allegedly shot an 18-year-old boy while he was trying to sell him a cell phone. According to Hialeah Police, the shooting took place on Aug. 1, in the area of Southeast Ninth Avenue and 12th Street. Police are searching for the suspect, who they have identified as Jesus Jimenez. According to authorities, Jimenez is a known gang member and has a very distinct tattoo on the right side of his neck with the name “LINA.” The victim, who wanted to keep his identity anonymous recalled the day’s events. “My cousin was selling a phone, and she called me and told me come along with me because I don’t really know the guy, so I went along with her and we were waiting in the car. When we waited in the car, the guy pulled up next to us, and he told us come to the car. Me being the guy, I said I’ll go. I went into the car, and I showed the guy the phone. The guy said, ‘I like the phone,’ this and that, and then he pulled out a gun and that’s when he shot me,” said the unidentified victim. “He shoots him twice, hits him the first time, point blank in the chest. He misses the second time. Jesus Jimenez intended to kill this unarmed 18-year-old victim,” said Hialeah Police Detective Karl Zogby. “Well, he’s out there. He’s armed. We need to catch him.” The victim’s father wants justice. “We’re here because we expect this individual to be caught. We ask for everyone’s help,” he said. “I just can’t imagine or understand how someone can shoot someone and not have anyremorse for his actions.”

John Mayer is losing a lot of friends. A spokesperson for the singer said Mayer has shut down his Twitter account now that he’s done with his Battle Studies Tour. He continues to communicate with his fans via his blog, the rep said. The singer had amassed more than 3.7 million followers on Twitter. His exit from the micro-blogging site comes months after he dealt with a bit of controversy. Back in February, Mayer had an interview with Playboy in which he talked about intimate relations with former girlfriend Jessica Simpson and used the N-word. The whole issue became a hot Twitter topic, and Mayer tweeted an apology to his followers: “Re: using the ‘N word’ in an interview: I am sorry that I used the word. And it’s such a shame that I did because the point I was trying to make was in the exact opposite spirit of the word itself. It was arrogant of me to think I could intellectualize using it, because I realize that there’s no intellectualizing a word that is so emotionally charged. “And while I’m using today for looking at myself under harsh light, I think it’s time to stop trying to be so raw in interviews. … It started as an attempt to not let the waves of criticism get to me, but it’s gotten out of hand and I’ve created somewhat of a monster.” He also tweeted: ” I wanted to be a blues guitar player. The case against Jodie Foster for allegedly assaulting a 17-year-old boy has officially been dropped, RadarOnline.com reports. The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office has “declined to prosecute” the actress due to lack of evidence.  The teenage boy accused Foster of battery after an incident in the parking lot of a Los Angeles-area shopping mall earlier this year. At the time, the actress’s rep said the accusations were a “fabrication.” After three months of unsuccessfully trying to get a statement from Foster, the Los Angeles Police Department handed over the case to the District Attorney’s office who dropped it due to lack of evidence. The incident occurred on May 29 at the Grove shopping complex. According to the police report, the boy spotted Foster in the valet parking area and approached her to take a picture. The police report was filed after the incident and officers did not report to the scene.(PopEater)

Angelina recently said her daughter has ‘Montenegro style’, leaving fashion observers a little flummoxed by the obscure description. The actress added: ‘She likes to dress like a boy. She wants to be a boy. So we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys’ everything. She thinks she’s one of the brothers.’ Shiloh is something of a bright spark, according to her grandfather Jon Voight. The veteran actor says: ‘All the kids are smart, I tell you. ‘They’re beautiful children.
