We’re getting reports that at least three and possibly five people have been shot in a police-involved shooting outside the Empire State Building this morning. The NYPD press office currently has no information, but it appears from police scanners that the shooting was related to a robbery and that the perp has been shot (it is unclear if they were apprehended or are DOA). According to the FDNY there are “several” people being taken to nearby hospitals while they mitigate the scene. (Picture by: @BicyclesOnly )
