Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mistress Threatens to Sue Over Story

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s mistress, Mildred , has threatened to sue Entertainment Tonight over an interview with her ex-husband, Rogelio Baena. In an interview with ET, Rogelio revealed that Patty led him to believe her 13-year-old child with Schwarzenegger was his own and only learned the truth last week ago when the news of the affair and Schwarzenegger’s confession came out. Rogelio said he felt ‘betrayed’ by the news. TMZ is reporting that after the interview was aired, Patty’s lawyer sent a letter to ET claiming that Rogelio always knew that the love child wasn’t his and said that the entertainment channel ran the interview without doing any research into Rogelio’s history with his ex-wife. The one time Schwarzenegger family housekeeper is also claiming that ET paid “in excess of six figures to spew lies.” PopEater

‘I feel dead when I’m not performing,’ confesses Lady Gaga as she flaunts her derriére

Lady Gaga fans have come to expect nothing less than a spectacle from their idol. And in a new interview, the pop phenomenon sheds light on why the art of performance is so rewarding and important to her. Speaking to U.S. music magazine Rolling Stone the 25-year-old confessed she only feels ‘alive’ when she takes on her stage persona. She says: ‘When I am not onstage I feel dead. Whether that is healthy or not to you, or healthy or not to anyone, or a doctor, is really of no concern to me. ‘I don’t feel alive unless I’m performing, and that’s just the way I was born.’ Gaga, who appears on the cover in a black leather bra and with a bow hair style, also said she can’t stand the thought of not being close to her fans, known as her ‘Little Monsters’. ‘We have this umbilical cord that I don’t want to cut, ever. I don’t feel that they suck me dry. ‘It would be so mean, wouldn’t it, to say, “For the next month, I’m going to cut myself off from my fans so I can be a person.’What does that mean? They are part of my person, they are so much of my person. They’re at least 50 percent, if not more.’ However she did admit to finding it difficult when she first found fame back in 2008. The Memorial Day BBQ will cost you 29% more this year thanks to inflation

You may be lucky to get half at this weekend’s Memorial Day cookout, which is set to cost 29 per cent more than last year, thanks to inflation. Those thinking of hosting a BBQ – even a modest one – can expect to fork out an extra $45 on food to serve a dozen guests. The total cost comes to $199, or around 29 per cent more than last year… and that’s before soda and alcohol, according to the latest data for metro New York. Lettuce has sky-rocketed 28 per cent since last year’s traditional BBQ, while an ear of sweet corn is now 50 cents, up from 20 cents last year. Those who don’t like tomatoes are in luck though: they’re up a staggering 86 per cent on last year. Nationwide the story is the same. Ground beef is up 12.1 per cent on last year and sausages are up 6.2 per cent, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. And don’t even think about potato salad. The apple of the ground is up 13.4 per cent. Ice cream is up 5.1 per cent, beer up 2.4 per cent and coffee has increased by 13.8 per cent nationwide. Read more: Daily Mail

Hurt Locker director to recreate manhunt and death of Bin Laden in film for next year

He starred in one of the biggest manhunts in history – and now he’s getting his own film. An inevitable movie about the hunt for and killing of Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden in Pakistan this month, by Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow, will be released next year. The events will be incorporated into a film the Oscar-winning director was already working on with screenwriter Mark Boal about the U.S. Navy Special Forces unit that killed Bin Laden. Columbia Pictures agreed to distribute the film – following reports that Bigelow, who worked on 2008 Iraq War hit The Hurt Locker with Boal, was working on it earlier this month.

China largest English speaking nation now

The world’s “lingua franca” is English and an estimated two billion are trying to learn it as their linguistic passport to business success and global access. China leads the pack, followed by India and Eastern Europe. “This year China will become the world’s largest English-speaking nation of more than 300 million,” said Mike Kraft, CEO of Lingo Media Corporation which is poised to cash in on this gigantic market. But English speaking is a bit of a misnomer. The problem in China is a shortage of teachers who actually speak English properly. Enter Lingo Media, Kraft’s small, Toronto-listed company. He has been a specialty publisher for years who has been developing English textbook products for China’s governments for years. Then he realized the teacher shortage problem so he just launched a breakthrough web-based learning product, using voice recognition software, for the Chinese market.  Within one year of operation, it has signed up one million registered users and is growing its client base exponentially.

$3.5million ad campaign launched by the government to promote citizenship to immigrants

A multi-million dollar advertisement campaign will be launched by the government to encourage more immigrants to become American citizens, officials have announced. Multi-lingual print, radio and digital adverts will feature testimonials from immigrants born in China, Mexico, Vietnam and other countries, sharing their personal stories of success running businesses, educating their families and even running for office in America. The huge campaign – the first of its kind – aims to reach roughly 7.9 million immigrants eligible to apply to for citizenship in an effort to make them integrate with the general public. Sceptics, however, argue that with little real incentive for immigrants to become citizens, the adverts will be costly but ineffective. Read more: Mail Online
