Justin Bieber, Ashton Kutcher Eyed For Film ‘What Would Kenny Do?’

The Los Angeles Times reports that Bieber and Kutcher are being eyed for the lead roles in the long-gestating comedy script, “What Would Kenny Do?”. The film is about a nerdy kid who meets his future self in hologram form; the hologram helps guide him through the trials and travails of high school. On the proverbial Black List since 2008, the LA Times says that the original draft has been rewritten to be less raunchy and actually send the thirtysomething self back in time to help the kid. The paper reports that Kutcher’s production company will be producing the film with Sony. Kutcher would play the thirtysomething, while Bieber would take on his past self. The report says that Bieber is already on board. Read more: HuffPost

Cancellations, Delays Disappear at MIA

The long lines and bellyaching continued at Miami International Airport on Wednesday, but the reasons were music to officials’ ears. Security check points and random special screenings – you know, the normal stuff that annoys travelers – replaced flight cancellations and delays, which had plagued passengers for the past week after a massive fuel fire sent the airport back to the dark ages. Airport officials said things were virtually back to normal and no delays or cancellations had been reported. That’s great news considering hundreds of flights had been canceled from MIA after an explosion in a fuel line that fed planes rendered the underground fueling system useless. The most impacted airline was American Airlines, which used Miami as its regional hub. Read more: NBC Miami

NBA probing Jay-Z’s visit to Kentucky locker room

An NBA spokesman confirms that the league is investigating Jay-Z’s presence in Kentucky’s locker room after the Wildcats clinched a Final Four berth. The rapper visited the players after their victory over North Carolina on Sunday at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J, home of the Nets. Jay-Z is a part-owner of the team and attended the Nets’ 120-116 loss at New York on Wednesday. NBA rules prohibit team personnel from having contact with players who are not yet draft eligible, and spokesman Tim Frank told the Associated Press the league is looking into it. Read more: AP

Nintendo’s new 3D console ‘makes gamers sick and gives them headaches’

Its revolutionary 3D screens were supposed to provide gamers with a mind-blowing experience. But it seems Nintendo’s new console has only succeeded in giving them a headache. Hundreds of angry users have complained that playing on the 3DS makes them feel unwell.  The handheld device was launched last week to huge fanfare in Britain, Europe and the U.S. But gamers, some of whom queued overnight to become the first to own it, are already reporting side-effects including dizziness, nausea and headaches. One Twitter user said: ‘Warning to everyone, if you’re already ill and have a migraine, DO NOT play the 3DS with 3D on. Urgh. ‘ Another gamer said: ‘The 3D gave me a headache, so I hated it.’  The Nintendo 3DS, which has two screens, a built-in motion sensor, three cameras and can also double as a pedometer, represents a major breakthrough as it is the first console to allow users to experience games in 3D without the need for special glasses. The technology is different to that employed by the manufacturers of 3D televisions. Read more: Mail Online

Fratboy and his girl are caught having sex on the roof of USC building

An inquiry has been launched after a couple were caught apparently having sex on the rooftop of a USC building – allegedly in front of hundreds of people. Officials at the university were outraged as photographs of the couple – many of which were too graphic to be shown here – quickly went viral. The images apparently show the man, who is a student at the university, and a woman cavorting in a variety of sexual positions on top of the school’s 12-storey Waite Phillips Hall in Los Angeles on Saturday. The woman has not been publicly identified but is not believed to be a student at the university, according to officials. The building is the home of the university’s School of Education, and is the second tallest on campus. Their rendezvous took place in broad daylight – and, according to reports, as a ‘philanthropy event’ attended by ‘hundreds’ of other students took place in the quad below. Instead of enjoying each other’s company in the centre of the roof, where they arguably may not have been seen, the couple appear to have chosen to stay near the edge, ensuring they were in plain view.
