NEW YORK (AP) – The Kardashian sisters are seeking to cut ties with a venture that sold prepaid debit cards under their name after coming under attack for the card’s high fees. The card, which launched three weeks ago, was aimed at young adults, the same group that watches the sisters’ hit cable TV show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians.” An attorney for the sisters sent a letter Monday to parties affiliated with the card asking them to immediately stop using the names and images of the three sisters. The notice came after Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal warned on Friday that he would investigate the program to see if it violated state laws to protect consumers. He called the card’s fees “predatory.” The Kardashians – Kim, Khloe and Kourtney – launched the card on Nov. 10, with much fanfare. The “Kardashian Kard” includes a picture of the trio on one side, and the sisters said at the time of the launch they were “excited … to create their very own financial product.” But almost immediately the Kardashians came under attack by consumer advocates for attaching their names to a card with fees that far surpassed other prepaid debit cards on the market. ”The Kardashians have worked extremely long and hard to create a positive public persona that appeals to everyone, particularly young adults,” says the letter from Dennis Roach, legal counsel of Dash Dolls LLC, which represents the three sisters. “Unfortunately, the negative spotlight turned on the Kardashians.”

LOS ANGELES (AP) – Tiger Woods may want to skip this week’s episode of “Law & Order: Los Angeles.” The plot on Wednesday’s show includes a philandering golf star and his club-wielding wife. When police arrive, the bleeding athlete says his spouse was merely attempting to rescue him – in this case, from their swimming pool rather than a wrecked car. After Woods’ November 2009 car crash, he acknowledged a string of infidelities and his marriage to Elin Nordegren unraveled. The NBC crime drama goes in a very different direction, with detectives investigating the murder of a female golf pro. The “Law & Order” franchise is known for its ripped-from-the-headlines approach, but a series spokeswoman called the episode strictly fiction. “Law & Order: Los Angeles,” with Skeet Ulrich, Corey Stoll and Terrence Howard, airs 10 p.m. EST Wednesday on NBC.

Pink reveals that she has picked out the name Jameson, after her favorite whiskey, if her child turns out to be a boy. But the singer insists there’s more than just her love of the drink that went into the idea. She told Access Hollywood, “My dad’s name is James, and my brother’s name is Jason.” ”(Carey and I) are both Irish, Carey’s middle name is Jason, (and) Jameson – we like whiskey. New York cops investigating a criminal complaint lodged by porn star Christina Walshwill subpoena Charlie Sheen‘s medical records from the night he was taken to a hospital after his bizarre meltdown in a posh New York hotel, a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com exclusively. Walsh – aka Capri Anderson – filed a criminal complaint against Sheen, charging that he held her against her will and choked her in his suite at The Plaza Hotel. She also says she saw him snorting a white powder. RadarOnline reported exclusively that Sheen snorted and smoked cocaine that night and tested positive for the drug when he was taken to a hospital after police arrived at his hotel and told him he could either go to jail or a hospital. ”Cops will subpoena Sheen’s records to see if he was using drugs as part of their investigation into what happened that night with Walsh,” the source told RadarOnline.com. “The investigation is ongoing.”

Bush continued his rehabilitation tour by sitting down with Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to discuss his new book, Decision Points, trade jokes and chat about other matters of the day, reports the New York Daily News. The interview, which was conducted in the San Francisco/Bay Area and streamed live on Facebook and watched by 7,000 viewers on November 29, featured Bush in playful mood, noting that he thought that the social media giant was an “interesting” company. He also stated that, “I use the Facebook.” ”I’ve got over 600,000 friends on my Facebook page,” Bush said, before adding that he did the interview because Zuckerberg has “a lot of people paying attention to us, and I’m trying to sell books.”(NBC)

Heat Head coach  not only has to dodge his players’ big shoulders, now he might have to dodge their desire to see him lose his job. Sources close to the team told ESPN that the players are frustrated with Coach Spo and some think he might not be the right man to helm the Heat. With a 9-8 record so far this season, the Heat have yet to live up to the hype following the additions of LeBron James and Chris Bosh to compliment marquee star Dwyane Wade. Things may have soured during a recent practice, where Spoelstra told James he had to act more serious, according to ESPN. “I can’t tell when you’re serious,” Spoelstra is alleged to have told the two-time NBA MVP. ”He’s jumping on them,” one source told ESPN. “If anything, he’s been too tough on them. Everybody knows LeBron is playful and likes to joke around, but Spoelstra told him in front of the whole team that he has to get more serious. The players couldn’t believe it. They feel like Spoelstra’s not letting them be themselves.” James may have shown Spoelstra just how serious he was during Saturday’s game against Dallas, when he was caught on camera bumping Spoelstra as he headed to the bench during a timeout. After Saturday’s loss to the Mavericks, Wade seemed to stand by his coach.(NBC)

Not even Spider-Man could avert this disaster. Last night’s opening pre view of Broadway’s most expensive production ever, “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark,” was an epic flop as the $65 million show’s high-tech gadgetry went completely awry amid a dull score and baffling script, theatergoers griped. Stunned audience members were left scratching their heads over the confusing plot — when they weren’t ducking for cover from falling equipment and dangling actors at the Foxwoods Theatre on West 42nd Street, some said. At various points, overhead stage wires dropped on the audience, scenery appeared on stage missing pieces — and the show’s star was even left swaying helplessly over them midair during what was supposed to be the climatic end to the first act.(NYPost)
