LOS ANGELES (14 de mayo, 2010) -El día de ayer el globalmente éxitoso artista , Pitbull, anunció a través de Twitter y sus páginas cibernéticas (www.PlanetPit.com y www.PitbullMusic.com) la decisión de cancelar el concierto pautado para el 31 de mayo, parte de su “Mr. Worldwide´s Carnaval Tour” en Phoenix, AZ, como señal de protesta ante la recientemente consagrada y controversial legislación SB1070. Con mucha compasión,  Pitbull proclamó  a través de un mensaje en Twitter, “Estoy cancelando mi concierto del 31 de mayo en Phoenix.  ¿Cómo puede ser que el país que disfrutamos y amamos por sus derechos humanos, libertad, oportunidad y que ha sido construido por inmigrantes ahora comience a negarlos?  Esto contradice todo los fundamentos básicos que forman a los Estados Unidos”.  Pitbull se unió a otros artistas importantes, políticos, líderes comunitarios y ciudadanos que expresan su desprecio ante la nueva ley.

Un grupo de cirujanos, anestesiólogos, enfermeras y otros curiosos se apilaron en la sala donde se realizaría el procedimiento quirúrgico al paciente, y comenzaron a videograbar con sus celulares la operación a la que fue sometido el hombre de mediana edad.

(AP) – The estranged wife of Dwyane Wade has filed suit against his actress girlfriend Gabrielle Union, saying their relationship has caused the star Miami Heat guard’s two sons emotional distress. She alleges the couple has gotten too frisky in front of the boys, ages 8 and 2. Dwyane Wade called the lawsuit “baseless and meritless,” and Union issued a statement insisting the allegations are false. The lawsuit by Siohvaughn Wade is the latest twist in a nasty back-and-forth divorce battle that has waged for years. It alleges Union “engaged in sexual foreplay” in front of the boys, which “severely inflicted the Plaintiffs emotionally and mentally.” Noting that Union has played a “seductress” as an actress, it adds, “Defendant has apparently decided to take her role beyond the films and into the home of a married man, Dwyane Wade, in the presence of his two minor children.”

In public, Sandra Bullock has been through the best and worst of times this year  from winning her first Oscar to enduring the breakup of her marriage. In private, she was quietly keeping a joyful secret – his name is Louis, and he is her newborn son.
